ICT Manager
Full-time |Permanent | Monday to Friday
Are you an ICT leader who wants to make a genuine difference every day?
Trinity Lutheran College is a Prep to Year 12 Christian co-educational College on the Gold Coast, where exceptional teaching, authentic relationships and a commitment to helping every student flourish are at the heart of everything we do.
We are looking for someone who approaches their work with curiosity and initiative, demonstrates compassion and care for the people they support, brings ownership and purpose to solving problems, and builds authentic, trusted relationships with a small and growing team.
About the role
Reporting to our Chief Operating Officer, the ICT Manager leads our growing ICT team. You'll be responsible for the reliability, security and day-to-day support of our technology, while bringing order and clarity to a large and growing systems landscape.
This is a role where technical expertise is important, but what will set you apart is the way you lead, think and solve problems. We need someone who takes genuine ownership of issues, works through challenges methodically rather than stopping at the first roadblock, and instinctively wants to understand how things fit together before recommending something new.
Who we’re looking for
You are a collaborative ICT leader who enjoys solving complex problems and making technology work better for people. You bring a service mindset, lead with integrity and accountability, and understand that the best technology solutions are those that are reliable, secure and genuinely improve the experience of staff, students and families.
You will demonstrate the ability to:
- Lead and grow a small ICT team, holding people accountable with fairness and clarity.
- Provide a consistently high standard of service to staff, students and families, keeping their experience front of mind in every decision.
- Build a clear, documented picture of our software and systems estate, and use it to steer us away from redundant or duplicated systems.
- Manage vendors, contracts and budgets, including forecasting and reporting.
- Stay current on network, cybersecurity, cloud and general IT practices – enough to guide the team and make sound decisions, without needing to chase every new trend.
- Actively support the Christian ethos and values of Trinity Lutheran College through your everyday interactions and professional practice.
A covering letter is important to us. Please tell us about a time you identified an issue affecting end users, took ownership of it, investigated the options and implemented a solution that made a real difference to their day-to-day experience.
Why Trinity?
Join a college that genuinely invests in its people, where technology exists to serve students, staff and families - not the other way around.
- Help shape how a fast-growing College manages a sprawling technology footprint.
- Lead and grow a small, close-knit team.
- Ongoing professional learning and opportunities to grow as a leader.
- Modern facilities in a central Gold Coast location, including free parking and gym.
The College expects all staff, students, and the community to embody the values and beliefs of our Lutheran school, reflecting commitment to our policies and educational excellence.
