Privacy Collection Notice
- In order to assess your application for employment, Trinity Lutheran College collects your personal information. If we cannot collect some of your personal information, we may be limited in our ability to assess your application.
- We collect your personal information directly from you (including from your resume) as well as from other sources such as your referees, the Queensland College of Teachers and Blue Card Services. We might also use artificial intelligence (AI) systems to generate your personal information. We may keep your information on file if your application is unsuccessful in case another position becomes available.
- We usually disclose this kind of information to the following types of organisations:
- payroll and superannuation service providers
- Blue Card Services or the Queensland College of Teachers (as applicable)
- IT service providers supporting HR and administrative systems
- government or regulatory authorities as required by law
- third party providers of AI systems we use.
- If you are successful in your application, and depending on the role, you may be required to hold a current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration or a valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card), in accordance with the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000 (Qld), which include criminal history screening as part of their compliance requirements. The College will collect and verify this information before employment commences. We may also collect personal information about you in accordance with these laws.
- The College may use online or 'cloud' service providers to store personal information and to provide services to the College that involve the use of personal information, such as email services. Some limited personal information may also be provided to these service providers to enable them to authenticate users that access their services. This personal information may reside on a cloud service provider's servers which may be situated outside Australia. - The College’s Privacy Policy, accessible on the College website, contains details of how you may seek access to and correction of your personal information which the College holds, as well as how you can make a privacy complaint and how we will handle the complaint.
- If you provide us with the personal information of others (e.g. referees), we encourage you to inform them that you are disclosing that information to the College and why.
Application Disclosure
As part of the application process there are a few questions we require you to answer. All questions asked are relevant to the role as well as our legal and client obligations. Before continuing with your application we ask that you read and consent to the following.

We advise that failure to disclose any and all relevant physical, medical or any other illness, injury or condition, or any past or pre-existing illness, injury or condition suffered by you which may affect your ability to fulfil the position(s) applied for may result in you being dis-entitled to claim compensation pursuant to the relevant workers compensation laws in respect of any further injury or illness, recurrence, exacerbation or aggravation of this injury, disease or condition.
